Sensya, patawad, my apologies, gomenasai, chesong hamnida....
O ayan cguro sapat na yan for my readers around the world no? ;p
Kidding aside, may project kasi ang inyong yours truly kaya matagal akong nawala. Once again sorry for the hiatus (parang Vampire Diaries lang ang peg).
Anyways, Public works and high-ways, I just like to post something "arki worthy" this time.
Mind you mga beki, these data are important sa buhay nating mga arkitekto. Wag kayong tutulad kay arkibeki na ni-neglect asikasuhin ang mga 'to. Kaya without further a do, I give you...
1. PRC No. - from the very start na nakapasa kayo, makukuha nyo na kagad 'to. This is your most precious ID in my opinion. This serves as a proof na nalagpasan nyo yung limang taon sa College plus 2 years of working experience bago kayo nakapag-review (it's ur choice btw), nakapag-take ng LEA at nakapasa. This is your Golden Ticket to the world of Architecture. Ang alam ko every 3 years ang renewal nito, at gagawin nila na ang expiration ay birthdate mo just so you don't forget ;p
2. PTR No. - Well, row 2 to 4 ang sakop nitong kanipis na resibo galing sa munisipyo. Row 2 = OR No, Row 3 = date, and Row 4 = place (kung saang munisipyo). PTR stands for Professional Tax Receipt sa mga di pa nakakaalam btw. Just a little advise though, try to get your PTR every start of the year (January) because this will serve your PTR for the whole year. For example, you forgot to file for January, you remember only nung let's say around May, that PTR is only valid hanggang December, you need to get another one the next year, and you pay the whole amount nonetheless.
3. TIN - dapat lahat ng mga professionals meron nito... nuff said.
Well, tapos na tayo sa naka-reflect sa plano, let's go now for the supporting documents...
4. IAPOA - Stands for Integrated and Accredited Professional Organization of Architects.... hontaray di ba? Kabisado ko pa ibig sabihin niyan, not only ilang beses lumabas sa Pro Prac ng Board but as an Architect you must know your org. And to tell you frankly, dahil medyo malaki laki na rin ang nasingil sa akin dahil sa ilang taon kong hindi pagbabayad dito. This got me saying WTF? (parang pagkaka-eliminate lang ni Leila sa ANTM c19...) Seriously I was just shocked dahil sa amount you need to pay plus penalty (for the years na di ka nakabayad) I think 30% or something....
5. Chapter - This will serves as like your Choir in Elementary, your Math Club in HS, and/or your APO in college. Yup, you guess it right, mayroon ding Chapter dues for this. And like the IAPOA, meron din itong penalty sa mga years na hindi ka nakakabayad... sad to say.
Kung na-accomplish mo na lahat ang above mentioned, you will need the last and final item (parang gumagawa lang ng potion ala-Charmed he he he) na makakapagpatunay na Architect ka na. Ang.....
6. Dry Seal(er) - Sa ating mga Architects, ang naka-impression bale na makikita at makakapa mo are your name, PRC no at yung logo natin: Ionic column...complete with volutes. Iba-iba yan kada (technical) Professionals: sa PME gear ata, sa Master Plumber water waves (not sure). It's your choice kung magpapagawa kayo sa Recto ng pang-seal nyo na makukuha nyo in 5 hours worth Php800 or magpapagawa kayo sa UAP na you will get after 1 1/2 months for a price of Php1200. The only difference is may logo ng UAP ung pang-seal na pinagawa nyo sa kanila.
That concludes it, kung may nakalimutan akong bangitin just leave your comments below. Alam nyo naman si arkibeki, I'm here to help those
'Till next time mga bekis ;p
Hi arki beki,
ReplyDeleteI've found your blog quite interesting & helpful.
I'm Architect working abroad & recently I need to renew my PRC license which was expired last 2009 but I was surprised that they referred me to UAP-IAPOA for settling my dues...etc.
Now, I just have some questions:
1. How much is the annual dues for both IAPOA &
UAP Chapter as you mentioned above?
2. What are the rules in renewing license?
3. Do you have knowledge in how much you will be taxed if
you have design project such as apartment or townhouse?
Thanks in Advance.

DeleteHi Arch RNL,
Delete1. Ang annual dues sa IAPOA is I think P700, nung new registration kc un ang siningil sa akin, pero may fine un every year n di mo nababayaran IAPOA mo ;p Ganun din sa Chapter, pero I think P800 for new registration.
Hope these help. Kung may corrections kayo mga beki, I'm free to correct my mistakes he he he ;p
